Hey, if you’re ever in Denver at about 40th and Tennyson you should check out the Comfort Cafe. We went there this morning after finding it on Yelp (4.5/5 stars!). It’s pretty cool, it’s one of those restaurants where you pay what you want to pay. You can pay $0 or $10 or $20 or any number of dollars. There are at least 2 other places like that in Denver that I know of, SAME Cafe and Cafe 180. It’s a really cool concept for a restaurant, even though it’s totally non-capitalist. They’re all like, “Pay what you can/want. If you can’t pay anything don’t worry someone else will make up the difference for you.” Cool.
Now even though the food was “free” you couldn’t tell. It was high quality, not like government surplus food or anything. There was even powdered sugar on my Scented French Toast! Their menu changes daily, and if you really want something that is not on the menu they’ll do their best to accommodate you. I was really impressed with the place and I want to go back and soon. Oh yeah, their coffee was top notch as well, and they have WiFi!
So go check it out and pay what you want to pay. I bet you’ll like it, unless you don’t like things that are good and I know that’s not the case because you like Stay At Home Brad! Ha! Bye for now!
