We visited the memorial of Jimi Hendrix in Renton, WA while we were out there. It is in an otherwise normal looking cemetery, nothing too fancy. But in it is the final resting place of one of the greatest guitar players there ever was.
Did you know he wasn’t even 30 when he died? I bet you knew, but I either never knew or had forgot. It’s crazy how much some people impact the world in such a short amount of time. He wasn’t famous for very long but he has had a lasting impact on music and perhaps life in general. And he’s not the only one, there are plenty of other musicians and the like who died young but did a lot. We won’t get into that here though.
I just thought I’d put together some photos of our little visit there. It looks like I was kissing it, I was only faking don’t worry. Thousands of others had kissed it before and even if I wanted to I wouldn’t have. Who knows what sorts of disease are lurking on that wall. It looks cool though. Thanks to those brave souls who kiss cemetery walls with lipstick on.
Ok then, I’ve got to be going. I think we better wait till tomorrow to do more. Have yourself a great ol’ day and night and do something nice for someone. See ya!
