Eliza And Her Backpack

Yesterday I said Eliza wasn’t going to get any presents for her coming home anniversary but I guess I lied. She did get something today. We done went and got her a little backpack. But it’s not just a backpack, it also has a leash that can be attached to it.

You see, Eliza gets around pretty good nowadays. In fact she might get around a little too good if you know what I mean. And I mean that she just goes wherever. It’s very hard to let her walk around in public right now, it has only been done a few times.

With this backpack/leash we could let her walk around and she’d only be a few feet from us at all times. I don’t know how she would like being on the tether but I imagine she’d get used to it after a bit. We haven’t tried it for reals yet, just around the house.

Oh another cool thing is that since it is a backpack, Eliza can start carrying some of her own stuff! Haha. That’ll be a real load off my back(pack).
